Flooring Retail Sales Consultant

Where: Salt Lake City and Provo, Utah

Potential to earn between $65,000 and over $95,000 through hourly pay, commission plan and bonuses

What we are looking for:
3+ years of work experience in a retail and customer service environment
3+ years of flooring experience selling carpet, resilient flooring, tile, wood, and countertops
Very good technical acumen and proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and database applications
Experience with QFloors Flooring software is a plus
Proven and successful sales experience
Proficiency in basic math and drawing skills; The ability to read and take off plans is an undeniable plus
Proven ability to create, build relationships and maintain relationships with clients
Proactive, service-oriented, self-motivated and goal-oriented
Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills
A dedicated, responsible, knowledgeable person, leader and motivator
Who is the company:

Recommend and provide product advice based on individual needs
Explain the use and benefits of the products to customers
Complete measurements to determine the best type and amount of materials required
Prepare and present accurate quotes to customers in-home or in-store
Advise customers on the use and maintenance of goods
Deliver an exceptional customer experience through a consultative sales process
Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases
Capture and track customer interactions in the software system
Actively manage quotes and pending cases to close deals
Constantly seek product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
Work as a team to ensure that each client receives the best possible service
Perform daily showroom maintenance duties including maintaining cleanliness and attractive appearance
