Designer
Minimum eligibility requirementsMinimum of one (1) year of interior design experience or previous retail/sales experience
Degree in Design is a plus
Knowledge of hard floors is a plus
Proficiency in basic mathematical skills
Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Basic computer knowledge, including the Microsoft Office suite
Internal candidates must have 12 months of experience in a design consultant role
Essential functions
Greet store customers in a helpful manner and assist with walk-in store design needs
Schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers, while developing clientele through networking and referrals, as well as leads generated within the store
Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice to homeowners, interior designers and builders for residential and commercial projects.
